After almost eight years of making documentaries, creating video advertisements, and working across different areas of filmmaking, I made my first feature film at the age of 26.

My dream had always been to make fiction. Documentary filmmaking happened almost by chance, but it became something I deeply enjoyed and was grateful to pursue. Eventually, though, I felt it was time to return to my original dream.

At the time, I was studying at the London Film School, where I gained an enormous amount of valuable knowledge and experience. But I was eager to make a film of my own. After a year of studies, I made the difficult decision to leave and dedicate myself to making Nothing.
