I started making documentaries in 2017, at the age of 19. My journey began with Freeman’s Homes, a project that took five years to complete.
Along the way, a chance encounter—and a lot of curiosity—changed the way I saw documentary filmmaking. I realised that, at its heart, all you really need to tell a good story is a camera, a microphone, and something worth saying.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless fascinating stories, meeting remarkable people, and documenting moments that might otherwise have gone unseen.
Broken Boats (2019)
In order to contain overfishing, the EU offered high rewards for the demolition of traditional fishing boats. During the Greek crisis more than 12,500 traditional boats were destroyed, and the ancient art of boatbuilding appears to have ended abruptly. Broken Boats captures this unique moment through the eyes of the people involved

Freeman’s Homes (2022)
Freeman’s Homes begins in 2017, as Freddy takes up residence in the Fig House—an abandoned building in Thessaloniki, Greece. Over the next five years, he embarks on a long journey in search of a place he can truly call home.
